We have dark stained paneling on our fireplace wall. Behind it is the firebrick, so removal isn't really an option. We'd like to paint it a lighter, blush or frosted effect, but have no idea how to acheive this.
Also - how does one prepare the paneling for paint? Any particular type of paint work better - enamel or latex?
