I have a 14 year old, 1200 sq. ft home with simple Birch Cabinets in the kitchen. I recently raised the cabinet above the Oven/range to make room for a new Microwave/Fan combo. My problem is that I now have some exposed unfinished wood and screw holes. Unfortunately, I can't yet afford to time or expense to refinish all of the cabinets for a perfect match. Nor can I afford to replace or reface the cabinets. How do I go about determining what finish was used on the cabinets and how do I color match the areas to be finished?
