I have removed wallpaper and want to knockdown texture the walls, does the wallpaper paste need to come off completely or can you spray over it the knockdown texture. Would it be adequate to sand first, or skim coat the wall first. Bottom line is do I have to completely remove all paste before finishing the walls....thanks for any help.
