tomh is right on track if you do not want to clean the old finish all the way down. Mineral spirits, also known as paint thinner, is a solvent and is very probably the active ingredient in Orange Glo. There are a lot of mineral spirits based cleaner out there that also have enough of something smelly in them to hide the odor.

Mineral spirits would be toxic if you could stand drinking it and did nothing about it after drinking. This is pretty unlikely to happen. Since it is a petroleum based product, it is flammable and subject to spontaneous combustion of rags and similar cleaning materials. Just follow the instructions on the container and be sure to leave the rags outside and not in a wad so that they dry completely, or you can leave them inside if they are sealed away from oxygen in a metal can. You will be much more comfortable and safer if you leave a big cleaning job using mineral spirits for a time when you can open windows and have good ventilation during the process.
