Saw Blade

I suspect the blade is dull, for starters. I presume you have checked to be sure the arbor nut is tight. I was going to say the belt may be slipping, but it probably does not have a belt because it is a direct drive. So check the motor brushes next.
From there, the motor may be damaged; a burnt odor would be the clue.
If you are using it on an extension cord that is too small, that could cause the problem; the connections could be loose.
