I'm in the process of buying an old victorian mansion, most of which is in fantastic shape, except for some of the interior walls which need to be replaced. In wanting to keep with the high level of workmanship in the house, I'd like some input on which would be the best solution to use when redoing the walls. Should I have plain drywall put up, or should I use blueboard with a plaster veneer? I am not so concerned about the difference in cost, I'd rather just have it look right and have to do it once.
