Freestanding Decks

I am going to be putting up a 12' x 20' Freestanding Deck that will be 6' high at the back and over 6'high at the front. I was wondering if I need to brace between posts and if I do need to, what style of bracing should I use since I want to use the underside for storage and do not want a bunch of braces taking up a lot of space?
