I restored 160yr old place two summers ago. The customers wanted original plaster to remain. We kept the good and repaired the old. Much work, more money, bigger mess, more time. It has to cure for 30 days minimum then oil primed and top coat as desired. Finished product looks good but is showing some hairline cracks after two years. It is part and parcel with an older post and beam home. Shows character.
