installing sleepers on a slab

Posted by Steve Natale on December 14th, 2003 12:48 PM

I trying to figure out the best way to fasten pressure treated sleepers to an existing slab. I'm thinking of using 1/2 inch anchors or the power fastners every 16 inches. This was an old garage which will now be a great room with radiant heat. The biggest problem is that the floor is pitched about 2 inches over 20 feet so the sleepers will have to be shimmed to get the floor level. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, any comments on the product Warmboard?
