price Posted by dp on December 15th, 2003 08:07 PM In reply to texture paints.... by rb on December 15th, 2003 12:54 PM [Go to top of thread]
your asking a company to come over your home and do work, with the cost of living today to pay workers a living wage, workmans comp, health insurance, business liability insurance, trucks and assiocated costs, materials, business licenses, adveritising...can i stop yet
the price is actually probally a bargan, your just thinking too cheap.
your looking for a cheap fix by asking a company to put up a long lasting textured ceiling, your barking up the wrong tree wendy
by texturing you say a tempory fix, although putting this stuff on your ceiling, it will never come off and look correct(as ceilings are big flat surfaces and the smallest dimple will stick out like a sore thumb)without ripping down the entire ceiling, and redrywalling the entire ceiling. what i am trying to say is its no tempory fix, its permanent, this texture you speaking of
so this quick fix your speaking is actually a permanant textureing of your ceiling
and if you ask most decorators or anyone in fact that textureing is good looking, they will tel you its not, its actually pretty cruddy looking. only done as coverup
why dont you skincoat like i told you on dec 10, its much less work than texture finish and will permantly fix your alagator look without redrywallingm, its very easy. the problem sounds like your grumpy lazy husband
get you lazy husband to do something this weekend, skin coating is like buttering a bagel, only bigger. probally cost you 30 bucks in materials and about 3 hours work for average room, ceilinig only
only kidding about your lazy-bones hunband
