I have a MAH3000AWW Neptune Washer well it will not spin no big deal right ! wrong after taking the machine apart and finding mold every where and finding a smoked circuit board I called Maytag and they inform Me that I have a bad WAX MOTOR on the door lock this is a cheap part 10$$$
but the bad part is this motor takes out the circuit board 170$$$$ My cost to fix it Myself
after Questioning Maytag on the poor design and asked what kind of failure rate they had, they said it was a high rate but not high enough for a recall (BS JUST DO A WEB SEARCH) when I pay 1000 $$$ for a washing machine I expect a great machine I can buy a sears washing machine for 250 $$$ and I guarantee
it will last a life time ! I WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY A MAYTAG OR RECOMEND ANYBODY ELSE BUY ONE EATHIER
