Don't feel too bad, Rose, we got them too. I do know that the open jar of salsa the teenagers left open over night did not help but I can't find where they keep coming from either. My best guess is in the aluminum window tracks where there is usually some condensation moisture available. We haven't had enough good cold weather to really stop them. Can't believe that zero degrees outside is really good for something but it may be in this case. The other thing to check is your refrigerator drain pan, which is usually under the frig. But ours do seem to like being around the kitchen and bathroom windows so I really think that has something to do with it.
