had ours for 3 years, no disasters, looks like the day we got it. ge model
very easy to clean, no more removing burners and burner drip pans, just wipe it down and its spotless. fast even heat, great cooking....recomend to anyone can afford
you can melt a jiffy pop on regular stove also, makes a big mess on that also
