I have worked on Bryant furnaces for the past 30 years or so. Generally they are pretty reliable. Mose of the problems are becuase of bad installations. Is your furnace on a dedicated circuit?
More than 1 furnace has had circuit board burnouts because the homeowner/ installer hooked it up to the same electrical circuit as a deep freezer or a washing machine. The excessive amp draw and rf signal can really mess up control boards. Bad electrical connections also can burn out boards. If your blower is working too hard because of inadequate air flow/restrictions it can draw too many amps thru the board.
You need to investigate these things. Bryant/Payne/Daynight/and Carrier furnaces all are made by the same company and they are - reliable if installed right and serviced regularly.
