Dodgeman you nailed it. It wasn't a "P" it is a lower case "r". Based on the "ur" stamp and a model number stamped inside the toilet lid I was able to figure out that the company was Universal Rundle.
DP - you're right, it really doesn't matter who makes it as long as it works but its been driving me crazy for a couple years trying to figure out the manufacturer.
