Who is living underground, I saw it.

It is a gopher, I finally put the hose down one the biggest holes,
(boy, they can go deep), and about four holes away, up popped a wet
gopher. And of course, I panicked. My four year old grandson wanted to
hit it with his bat, I was afraid the creature might live through it or
run up the bat or something, I got the dogs and tried to show them the
gopher, as it ran dripping across the yard, stopping to try a dig another
hole, but they were more interested in playing ball. So, we have a gopher.
And it does have a very large mouth. Now what?
