Kitchen island outlet, but the island is movable...

I need to install an outlet in a kitchen island, however the island is not a permanent installation, it is on wheels... I figure my best bet is to install the island in the floor, but are there any floor outlets approved for a residential installation ???? Also, perhaps someone has a better idea as to how to address this outlet issue....
