acetone is NOT the solvent for superglue

the cyrnoacrlate solvent does nothing once it has dried

if anything is going to work its scrapeing, carefully with a straight edge razor in holder for safty

new sharp blade, low angle of attack, gentle and slowely scrape it away

is no guarantee there is no miracle clean up, super glue by its nature sticks very well and is extreemly hard to remove when it has set up

you should have put down some newspaper before your glueing project was comenced, but that kind of smarts is either born with or gained from experence

yours in the latter
