Sash Weights

I had trouble finding a store that carries these weights because they just are not used any more. So, what I did was to make a few phone calls to a couple of these Window & Siding Replacement Co.'s and asked them. Many times people with older homes replace their old windows with new ones and no longer need their sash weights, perhaps the Window Replacement Co. could save these weights for you. I got a few weights this way along with a bag full of the pulleys that the sash cords use. These company's may charge you a small fee for their time retreeving them (usually they just cut the sash cords and let the weights fall within the window frame) I bet if you call them they could get you a couple. If you need any pullyes, let me know, I have a bag full in my basement.
