Taping Issue

What is the best way to finish an exposed, cut edge of drywall?

I am getting ready to pull some T&G paneling down and redrywall the triangular wall beneath my staircase.

My question is, how do I finish the cut edge of the drywall where it butts up against the stringer? I would imagine, if it is left ‘raw’ it will eventually start raining dust.

Should I use something like casing bead (like corner bead with one short side) on this edge or is there some other treatment is should use?
