peel and stick tiles

I want to lay peel and stick tiles over a poorly done job of linolum laying.

What kind of peel and stick do I need and if I have to rip up whats there how do I do it?

I'm miserable with the job that was done and need to get started as soon as I can.

Any good advice will be helpful.
