cleaning concrete basement floors help!!!

Two years ago some workers went and did sawing on the table saw and left a mess of saw dust.
I need help with trying to clean up the mess now.
I had vacumed it and mopped the floor.
Well I made a bigger mess of it. The saw dust as well as other dust is now stuck to the floor.
I have treid sweeping it and is stuck to the floor.
Tried some green stuff that you scatter on the floor never touched the drit and grim stuck to the floor.
I have now bought a power washer 5 horse power hoping this will get the grim off of the floor.
But where do I start with it ?
I know I should clean the walls first. I bought deck cleaner so that it would not hurt the wood. It's a unfininished basement.
