where can i get a look a diagrams on different types of switches?

i have a light box that i have had for years (i am pretty sure they don't make 'em like this anymore) and some how the on switch got seperated from it and then it got stepped on and the prongs are bent to the point where i can't quite tell how they are supposed to fit into the appliance and turn it on. nothing appears to to be broken (but i could be wrong) i don't know what this type of switch is called but when it is operating normally it must be pushed down and held in for a couple of seconds then the device lights up. can some one tell me where i can get a look at different switch types so that i can get an idea as to how it is supposed to fit in?
