Creaking joists

With all these high winds we have been having in the NE, I just have to ask this question. What is causing (more importantly), how can I stop the joists in my attic from creaking so much. I have a 25 year old two story colonial with full height attic. I live in a neighborhood that seems a lot like a wind tunnel in the backyards. I think the wind is normally blowing against the side of the house.

I don't think it is a problem, just real noisy?

Any ideas? Suggestions
