Thermostat Lux 1500

Posted by Seta Eyvazian on December 31st, 2003 10:51 AM

We don't have an air conditioner, but if we accidently put the switch on cool on the Lux 1500 (instead of heat), cold air does not stop coming from our vents and we can't get heat. There is no way to shut off the cold air. We've unplugged the heater, but when we plug it in again...cold air continues! This is the second time this is happening. The first time the heating company charged us $180 and replaced something on the heater (probably some circuit board components). Now we are now convinced that the cool button is the culprit and is triggering cold air that won't shut off. HELP!!!!
