Tammy, depending on the relocation, you may use an existing manifold to reconnect the hot and cold lines. If the relocation is near other plumbing (with adequate size pipes) reconfigure the "manifold" to accept the waterheater. It is really not simple as that but is a less expensive alternative to other costly ideas.
