I just finished taping this episode. Floor can be put directly on cement or on 3/4" plywood underlayment. Use a non-water based mastic to apply. Grout with 2 parts sawdust and 1 part fast-drying oil based sealer. Remove excess grout with squeegee and then wipe with steel wool. After allowing to dry for at least 24 hours, seal with oil-based sealer. Good Luck To All.
