you can diseaguage one wheel with a pin at the axles on all snow blowers that are self propelled to facilate turning]
this is not desirable though as you have no traction and wont be able to clear the snow
you need 2 wheels turning all the time with chains to get any work done, so your little idea of handles that i never hear of BTW, would be useless in any snow condition
besides, if both handles were for wheels, how would you safely enguage and disenguage the augers?
