While accessing our attic on our old (Bessler) stairs, one of the two springs that holds the stairs and the door up broke. Now our stairs just hang down. We can't find a spring that will fix them ANYWHERE, nor do we think we have the strength and/or know-how to install it if we ever do find the right one. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
