Have you provided 2 means of egress for this room in case of an emergency? Installed smoke and carbon monoxide detectors? Check with your homeowners insurance agent to see if they will still cover you with a bedroom in the basement? Check with local building inspector to see if you can legally make a bedroom in the basement?
