It is a 10 year old furnace, as far as i know it isnt a condensing furnace. Im new to all of this, so bear with me. How would I check it with a voltmeter? Are either the transformer or the gas valve coil expensive to replace? Easy to replace, or should they be done by someone who is trained to do that?

I do have some electronics experience from school, but it was awhile back, so im not sure what kind of voltages I would be looking for?
