Dear Bob:
We bought our home one year ago after relocating from Chicago. We are far from the airport but on the path for landing. The plane seem to make a turn over our home to approach the airport landing strip. We are devestated. This is a great neighborhood and the homes are quite expensive. Yet we have not had one good night sleep since the week we moved in. There are planes passing by all night, at times our home seems to shake.Plese is their anything we can do short of moving out? We have done so much renovation to the home and put so much money into it that it would be crazy and horribly sad to move now. How can we reduce the outside noise, plane noise, especially in our bedrooms? Because of the size of the rooms the noise seems to amplify. Would changing the windows and french doors be sufficient? Is their some thing we should put in the attic? The house is a single floor plan in Miami, Florida. Please send us some suggestions. Thank you. T. Iribarren
