Kitchen cabinets, how to seal in cracks seperating cabi Posted by Danielle on January 8th, 2004 09:05 PM In reply to KITCHEN CABINETS by TAMMY S on January 7th, 2004 01:57 PM [Go to top of thread]
I am refinishing my dark brown wood kitchen cabinets. I just put the basecoat on and before I paint it, I'd like to seal in the thin cracks that show the separate cabinets. A painter once told me to caulk the areas. I bought Dap Alex Plus from a local store as they said it was the best for what I need. But after reading the fine print, it does not look like what I need. I am only trying to make the cabinets appear seamless, so when I paint it, it looks better. Not sealing any water, just wood-wood. 1/8-1/4 inch cracks, but they do show. Thanks, Danielle
