I'm very happy that you are attempting to solve this problem rather than all out complain. You moved to this house basically with the knowledge of this nuisance and are not complaining to the airlines, but attempting to rectify your own short sightedness. I am sorry that I cannot offer any suggestions but a simple pat on the back.
