It was interesting to note that when a large bruhaha was started by an activist group in Albuquerque over airport noise, one of the placard carriers admitted on TV news that he hadn't really noticed the noise until someone showed at his door with a petition for him to sign denouncing the air traffic and pointed it out to him. No doubt there are a lot of db's over Teresa's home but focusing on it makes it worse. If her attic is well insulated, she probably can't do a lot more than somehow think of the noise as pleasurable like people living next to the train tracks trying to imagine what magical far off places the people on the train are heading to. Of course, the most definitive example of selective hearing is when guys are watching the SuperBowl....fire engines could be in the kitchen without being heard. Luck, Kizmet
