I want to lay laminate flooring over a concrete floor which previously had parquet tiles. The floor has a tar/paper reside left on it and I need to know the best type of subfloor to use prior to installation of laminate flooring. Also what is the best bang for your buck laminate flooring and where can colors other than wood floor be found? If I have various measurements in floor how do I figure total number of square ft.?
