Hey buddy, I'm interested too. We bought a house a few months ago that has beautiful pecan cabinets all through the kitchen. My wife hates them because she feels they're too dark. She would like the whitewashed look to match our kitchen furniture. I was thinking of doing a little sanding and then applying a couple coats of a white toner, stain, or thinned base. I've never attempted this so I could use a little advise as well. I'll pass along anything I pick up. Take care.
