I own a Maytag Neptune washer and dryer. They are four years old. The dryer has already had to be repaired at a price of $115.00. Now the Washer is completely unusable. The wonderful stainless steel tub completely broke off from the arm supports. Not only did the the bolts shear off but two of the three arms completely broke off. Plus there is mold and mildew in the washer. We can have it repaired for approximately $400.00. Maytag does not want to make good on any of this. But are willing to sell me an extended warranty for the next problem. I will not be having a next problem with a Maytag appliance because I will never buy another one of their spendy inferior products.
