We are renovating a 100 year old home and added on an 18'x24' family room. We used a 26' laminated beam so we could have cathedral ceilings but would like to have 2 ceiling fans to keep heat and cool from living 14' above us. The dilemma is, the shroud around the base of fixture will be greater than 3.5", how do we make this look good and function without vibration? Thanks for your assistance. Rox
