Baffled over waterbed baffles

Okay everybody I need HELP on this one. Last week our soft-sided
waterbed sprung a leak which I couldn't find with the bed in place,
so I drained the bed and moved it down to garage. I then filled it
with air, found the hole, then patched, removed air, placed back in
the frame and filled. Now here's the problem, the baffles have
bunched up in the middle of the bed so the middle is VERY hard and
toward the sides VERY soft (just water). Any ideas on how to get
the baffles loosened up and distributed evenly again? Thanks in
