We installed laminate flooring in our family room and hallway bcause I was so tired of trying to keep carpets clean. Now i find I am mopping the laminate floor a dozen times a day. We have a dog who tracks in wet spots constantly. How can I keep the floor from looking "streaky". It always appears to have a film on it. I was told that Windex made a glood cleaner but it still seems to leave a film. Plain water helps but takes ages to dry. water with ammonia is good too but nothing leaves the smooth, film free finish I want and expected. Any help will be appreciated.
