We've just built a new house and some of the cinder blocks in the basement become wet after it rains. Our builder says that this is normal for the first six months. I'm skeptical about that. We don't know whether to go ahead and paint the basement walls with water sealer or not. The land around the house hasn't been graded or sodded yet. Does that matter? Any advice?
