The pit in my basement keeps filling up with water, and the sump pump is doing its job and ejecting the water (noisely). But I don't know where the water is coming from and its been running for a few days now. It has not rained in awhile. I'm baffled. I'm a new home owner so I'm not sure if this is normal. All I know is that it hasn't always done this.
