Wallpaper and plaster

Posted by Desiree on January 14th, 2004 06:28 AM

Hi to all!
I am removing the wallpaper in my living room, I am guessing its foil because it is glossy. It peels of quiet easily but leaves the glue behind on most parts….. The paper has been up for about 13 years and is plaster behind the wall….. I need an easy way to remove the glue…. And some parts the plaster is chipping… will I need to replaster the whole wall or just the parts that came off? I am painting instead of rewallpapering and don’t want my paint to chip…. Any help would be grateful Thanks….
