Low flow toilet

Jack - unfortunately, they only make 1.6 gpf toilets nowdays. Besides the smaller amout of water running through the bowl, you may also have another problem.

Remove the cover from the back and watch as you flush. The flapper (the flap attached to the pull chain) will rise allowing water to flush into the bowl. At some point near the end of the flush, the flapper will fall back down and cover the water supply hole. Observe the water level at this point, is there a lot of water still in the tank? The goal here is to get the flapper to stay open as long as possible so that more water will flow into the bowl. There is usually a little float attached to the chain that keeps the flapper open once the chain has been pulled. Adjust the bobber lower so that the flapper will stay open longer.

If that doesn't work, try not to crap so big!
