I have an out dated 7 foot wall unit in 3 sections for my TV room. I want to brighten it up with maybe a crackle finish or white wash or some paint. Is it possible to do this? I think the finish is like a walnut laminate. I'm afaid if I sand it, it will just take the finish off. I heard that Zinser Bin Primer allows you to paint over anything. Can you help or should I just trash it!
