Melanie, it is possible that you do not have a leak. You state in one post it could even be plastic(acrylic). As you know this is a poor insulator from the elements. Transfer of cool/heat is greatest at single pane windows. Suggest you search for drafts as dp suggest, but ultimately look into replacing with a double pain,storm door, or even another sliding door on the outside of existing.
