people always tend to think machines work best when they think of something like this but in most cases they are wrong.
if its a driveway and old, its probably like 1.5 inch asphalt. its way easier to use a pick and lift up in large sheet. a bobcat will just end up making a bunch of whole in your driveway, you will have to break it to get it into the bucket and it wil be a mess. a lot of paving contractors will do a small driveway by hand cause they wont have to do much grading afterwards.
this fall i did a driveway, 70 feet long by about 15 wide, with a another patch of 20 by 20, in about 6 hours 3 guys....loaded and dumped.... Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
