Leaving the door open on your washer, which leaves the LIGHT on in the washer -- thereby burning out the bulb besides wasting electricity with you "energy efficient" washer -- is advice I would only expect from a Maytag shill. GET REAL!!! $1,000 for a washer and you have to jury rig it? There's an old saying: "A tote is a tote, a poke is a poke, but a Maytag is a LEMON.""
