Furnace Trouble

Posted by Greg on January 19th, 2004 07:06 AM

Again...This happened before, it 'fixed' itself, but we never determined the cause...now it's fritzed again. My Lennox furnace is 25 years old. There are a electronic humidifier and an electrostatic filter attatched to it. The thermostat is an old mercury unit. Lately, the furnace stops working. the light for the filter stays on (usually only on when furnace is running), the pilot is on and the burner comes on when the furnace tries to kick in. But the units blower won't work, then no spark in mercury thermostat. Last time I turned the furnace off, then after a few minutes on and it worked again. There is no reset switch?
WHat gremlins do I have??
Thanx in advance.
